It all started with an item included in the Collectors edition of SpellForce 2 Shadow Wars back in 2006 designed by Jan Wagner. 38 different cards with the 2 faction of "Realm" and "Clans" with 10 spellcards and the very 1st version of the rules.
In SpellForce 2 - Master of War (4.0 Forces of Eo Edition) over 100 different cards will be included for you, to play the game. Now redesigned with over 7 faction, every fraction has 14 different Units for you to collect and to create your own custom army and deck withing the balance rules of the game! Every unit has uniqe abilitys which have an effect on every fight of the game. So it will be possible to win against an enemy who is stronger than your unit or can even be untouchable when you have the wrong type of unit to fight him. Also use up to 10 different spellcards who can have an massive effect on the game and the enemy.

You will be able to play singleplayer vs the AI, Multiplayer with friends via (W)Lan or even share a game on one device. In Singleplayer vs the AI, you will faith a random encounter vs one of the 7 faction decks. Where in Multiplayer you will face your enemys with your own custom deck like yours. Every battle against the AI in Singleplayer is completely different thanks to the 7 faction decks, so it will be never the same fight. Challenge the AI and show him who is the true Master of War. Embrace the story with over 10h of playtime and over 70 custom battles to face.
Wanna play against your friends over (W)LAN? No Problem! You will be able to play against other player over LAN or VPN (Radmin VPN, Hamachi). With the comfort Lan-Host-Manager you just need to select the IP-Adress (IPv4 recommended) on that you want to host the Game. Crossplay of Windows and Android is fully supported. In this Mode the RPG System will be activated your victorys will level you up. Play against every other System in your network even without an online-connection.

You just need to register for the Multiplayer and get started. You can see who is currently online and which game is currently open. Just start a game and challenge everyone you want.
Wanna play against your friends on one System? No Problem! You will be able to play against other player on one and the same system with enough time to switch every turn. Each one of you will get one of the 7 faction decks asigned via RNG with a new deck every game. So you have always the option to play whenever and wherever you want against other players, even when they don’t have a System currently aviable. The RPG System is here disabled because there is the oppotunity that you may be winning against yourself ;-).
Every fight, every spell and every event is animated by full ingame event-movies. You will see how the fight will end and what happend to your unit. Every victory against the AI or Player will increase your army and so giving you more tactical power for your deck.
